Turin, October 28, 2012 – The SLOW WINE 2013 life staries, vineyards, wines in Italy is a Slow Food Editor guide gave the Snail 2013 to Azienda Agricola G. Attanasio.
During the largest Italian wine
tasting held in Turin on sunday,
October 28, Slow Food Editor
presented the most representative
wines of the territory of origin,
carefully selected by the Director
and his staff. Slowine is published
by Slow Food Editore and it narrates
the original
communicative
characteristics of the winegrowers,
the farms and the wines. More than
2,000 Italian wineries patiently
visited and over 1800 farms reviewed,
divided by geographical areas. The
Azienda Agricola G. Attanasio is
described by the Snail, the symbol
assigned to those wineries that
stood out for having interpreted the
taste, texture, territorial,
environmental and identity valors as
they are understood by Slow Food. In
this edition, to the Primitivo di
Manduria Sweet 2008 Attanasio has
been awarded the Wine Slow prize
because it is a wine particularly
expressive of the production area
and with excellent organoleptic
qualities.
